Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 390 degrees Fahrenheit for 3 to 5 minutes. Lightly mist the basket with olive oil spray.
  2. Pat the salmon dry with paper towels. In a small bowl, whisk 1 tablespoon olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, smoked paprika, dried parsley, and half the salt and pepper. Brush this mixture over the top and sides of the salmon. Sprinkle the Parmesan evenly over the tops of the fillets and press gently so it adheres.
  3. Toss asparagus with the remaining 1 tablespoon olive oil and the remaining salt and pepper.
  4. Add asparagus to the preheated basket in a single layer. Air fry for 3 minutes, then shake the basket to redistribute.
  5. Move asparagus to the sides to make space. Place salmon fillets in the center, skin side down, leaving space between pieces. Air fry 7 to 9 minutes until the thickest part reaches 125 to 130 degrees Fahrenheit for medium, or to your preferred doneness. Use a meat thermometer for accuracy.
  6. Rest salmon for 2 to 3 minutes. Plate salmon with asparagus and serve with lemon wedges.
